Map the Xperience - Rio Costilla River (NM) Map
Details
The Rio Costilla in New Mexico is a classic high meadow mountain stream. It is one of the few public fisheries in Northern New Mexico to offer fishing and fly fishing for native Rio Grande Cutthroat trout, a rare cutthroat species that inhabits less than 10% of it’s original home waters. Anglers will also find cuttbows, occasional rainbows, brown and brook trout. This map covers roughly 20 miles from Costlla Reservoir downstream towards the confluence of the Rio Grande.
