Scott Fly Rod

Scott has been handcrafting exceptional fishing tools for serious anglers since 1973. Founded in a basement in San Francisco by Harry Wilson, the Scott Fly Rod Company (named for his son) quickly became a recognized brand thanks to the first five-piece fiberglass rod design, and later, the first 9-foot 4-weight graphite rod. Always at the forefront of design and materials, Scott has since become a leader in the field and a manufacturer of reference-level fly rods for all types of freshwater and saltwater fishing.

In 1993, Scott moved from San Francisco to Colorado, where they still make every rod by hand to this day. From heirloom-quality masterpieces like the M Series to the neo-retro F2 Fiberglass Series, Scott is and will always be an innovator in the industry and a brand by which others are judged.

Scott Fly Rod Radian Fly Rod
"Money well spent"

I have been fishing the 9 ft 6wt for about 4 months now. I test-cast a Winston B3X and Sage One side by side with the Radian twice for a pretty good amount of time. Grateful for the patience of the fly shop rep. The Radian was the perfect balance of all the things I liked in the Winston and Sage. Great at casting line at a distance but easy to dial in at short shots as well. Sensitive wit

Scott Fly Rod G2 Fly Rod
"Small river dry/light nymph rod"

I have the 8'8" 4 wt which I use as a dry fly rod. Great feel, probably one of my best feeling rods. Casts a dry superbly and handles light nymphing with no problem. Fish it whenever I can on the Poudre. *UPDATE* Had the butt end of the reel seat separate the other day on a trip, bummer. (It is a seasoned and well used stick) I'm sure Scott will make it right when I visit them on vacation.
