Simms

Simms Fishing Products was founded in 1980 by John Simms, an avid fly fisherman with a vision to create the highest quality waders and accessories available. In 1993 the company was relocated from Jackson, Wyoming to its current home in Bozeman, Montana. Once in Bozeman, Simms Fishing Products developed a partnership with W.L. Gore and Associates and began making the world’s first truly waterproof, breathable waders out of GORE-TEX fabric. This development changed how waders would be made forever and sealed Simms’ fate as the world’s leading manufacturer of waders, boots, outerwear, and clothing. Since its humble beginnings, Simms Fishing Products has held fast to its U.S. based manufacturing and business practices. In 2012, the company moved into a new 60,000 square foot facility where they continue to design, test, and manufacture the highest quality angling apparel on earth. Simms employs over a hundred locally based employees who are committed to their craft and stand behind their work.

These days, Simms offers fly fishermen a broad range of equipment for every adventure including UPF rated clothing, five layer GORE-TEX jackets, and durable, waterproof bags and packs. Seasoned guides and passionate anglers all over the world know that when quality and performance matter most, Simms Fishing Products are second to none.

Simms BackMagic Wading Belt
"Backsaver is a backsaver"

This thing is amazing. I can fish hard all day and my back never gives out on the river. I can actually fish longer days using this product.

Simms Freestone Pant
"Good, cheaper pair of waders"
9/21/2015

I still have mine purchased in 2009 and they are worn, but still keep the water out. I wear these when drifting and some walk/wades in the late Spring and early fall. Still hold up well and have had no problems.
