EURO NYMPHING TRIP

Want to learn the popular fly fishing technique of European or “Euro” Nymphing? Our guides and staff bring years of experience and are happy to share the secrets of the techniques. European Nymphing is used in competition fly fishing as it yields high numbers of fish to the net, making it the highly effective to catch a lot of fish in short period of time. Using longer rods and lighter tippet it gives you more feel making the sensations of catching that fish so much more enhanced. If you want to learn more about the technique be sure to check out VVA Ambassador Jack Arnot’s (Member of Team USA Youth Fly Fishing Team) Blog about the Introduction to Euro Nymphing.

We will outfit you with a specific Euro Nymphing fly rod setup where you will be able to pick apart the water and catch fish in places you never thought held fish. We offer both half days and full day trips year round. Fishing locations would be determined by your guide but will most likely be on the Colorado or Eagle Rivers.
