Experienced Retail Sales Associate: Full Time, Year Round

We are look for an experienced and fly fishing focused sales rockstart. This position will be full time, starting March or April with the opportunity to continue year-round depending on performance. This job will focus on managing all aspects of our retail shop including sales, inventory, merchandising, and seasonal shop staff. We are a fly fishing niche shop and the ideal candidate will be familiar with and passionate about all things fly fishing. Local knowledge of the surrounding waters is a plus. This Retail Associate will be expected to lead the retail team and ensure quality of customer service and information provided at all times. NOTE: This is not a way to get your foot in the door as a guide. We are looking for a sales driven and retail minded individual looking to invest in the growth of our shop.

Shuttle Manager: June 1 - August 31 (depending on water levels and runoff)

We are looking for a dependable and detail oriented candidate who can manage our shuttle business during the Eagle River float season. Daily Responsibilities involve stopping by the fly shop in the morning between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. Checking on the shuttles for the day. Formulating a plan of action to execute. Execution involves gathering other shuttle driver employees, leading team to complete shuttles in safe and timely manner. Work is typically from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. In the afternoons shuttle manager is on call for afternoon shuttle calls. Be available to work 6-7 days a week through the month of July.

Pay: Mileage reimbursement and hourly wage depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to maneuver park and safely transport vehicles with boat trailer. Need to have working vehicle that can safely transport employees.
  • Have working cell phone, that can connect to Google Sheets App.
  • Knowledge of the Eagle River's boat ramps is a plus.

Seasonal Experienced Float Fishing Guide: Summer 2018 season

We are looking for qualified float fishing guides for the 2018 summer season. Summer season typically begins June 15th depending on runoff and runs through the end of August or beginning of September. The float fish guiding takes place on the Colorado, Eagle, and Roaring Fork Rivers. Looking to fill 5 openings, just 2 left! Competitive pay, pro-forms and shop discounts available, and all trip expenses like shuttles, lunches, fly reimbursements are covered by the shop. No hassle guiding, we are an experienced and professional operation with a supportive team environment. End of season party and guide gift.

Pay: Depends on Experience, Paid per trip not Salary

Qualifications:

  • State of Colorado Oar Certification Required (50 Hours on the water with a certified instructor)
  • Trip Leader certified in the State of Colorado, with documentation (250 logged commercial hours, 250 logged personal hours)
  • Must be proficient on the oars and able to navigate Class I-III waters in a safe manner
  • Experience guiding commercial fly fishing trips
  • Must have local housing
  • Must have a boat/trailer/car and all necessary gear to run safe and successful fishing trips
  • Clean driving record
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Car Insurance Requirement with an insurance stipend to cover the additional premiums incurred.

Seasonal Wade Fishing Guide: Summer 2018 season

We are looking for qualified wade fishing guides for the 2018 summer season. Summer season typically begins June 15th depending on runoff and runs through the end of August or beginning of September. The wade guiding takes place on the Colorado, Eagle, and Piney Rivers as well as Gore Creek. Looking to fill 5 openings. Competitive pay, pro-forms and shop discounts available, and all trip expenses like shuttles, lunches, fly reimbursements are covered by the shop. No hassle guiding, we are an experienced and professional operation with a supportive team environment. End of season party and guide gift.

  • Must have local housing
