Guide Experience:

I have been guiding for 8 years now. My first two years I spent in the Platte River Valley of south central Wyoming. Then i decided to move back to my hometown where I’ve been guiding here in the Vail Valley for the past 6 years.

Fishing Experience:

I got interested in fly fishing in high school and picked it up through the help of a good friend. I continued to progress through getting time on the water, learning through trial and error, and from the help of others within the community. I’ve recently become passionate about salt water fly fishing and like to spend my vacations traveling to exotic places and chasing the various amazing and trying saltwater species available these days.

Exotic Experience:

My most memorable exotic experience has been going for Roosterfish in Baja Mexico where me and a friend were blessed to be put on a couple hundred square yard bait ball that large schools or roosters were feeding of off thanks to our amazing guide. We proceeded have 4 double ups and boat 11 roosters in a couple hour window, landing multiple quality fish each!

Wish List:

my bucket list fishing trip is a jungle fishing in Bolivia for Golden Dorado and Pacu.

Hobbies:

my hobbies are fly fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and traveling! Putting three of the four together in different settings is my favorite pastime.

Favorite Thing About Guiding:

my favorite thing about guiding is seeing when it ‘clicks’ with people and they from focusing on form, technique, etc. To just finding their state of flow bringing them fully to the present moment of the experience.
