TRADE IN AND UP PROGRAM:

Fly fishing is a gear-heavy sport. We know that, and we love it. But we also know that whether you are just starting or majorly upgrading, recycling/repurposing your gear can be a real hassle.

We want to help. And encourage the circle of life among anglers and their gear. We will sell your gear at no cost to you, and issue an online gift code as well as a one-time use code for complimentary shipping from our website when you purchase your replacement gear.

BI-ANNUAL FLY CUP DRIVE:

When we sell flies to customers we give them a plastic cup. In order to encourage these cups to be reused or brought back to the shop, we host two "Fly Cup Drives" throughout the year. These events reward recyclers with the chance to win a prize with each cup they bring in.

FLY VINES:

We receive countless old fly line. In order to recycle the line, we send it to Fly Vines, a company that builds products from old fly lines out of Montana.

ENERGY SAVINGS, RECYCLE PROGRAM, & PAPER WASTE:

In order to cut back on energy usage our shop is equipped with all LED lights. For the energy that we do use, we are fully powered by wind. We also follow strict recycling policies within the store. We participate on Rio Fly Line's recycling spool program. Our paper waste is cut down by using programs like Google Drive that electronically shares documents between employees instead of printing out paper to share documents. We encourage clients to sign their liability waivers online through our Smartwaiver portal. All of these practice helps cut back on our carbon footprint.
