Bodkins are used to tease dubbing materials, create half hitches, and apply head cement to the end of your flies. The 5-inch Dr. Slick bodkin is available with either a brass or bamboo handle. Half hitch tool inset in the end of the handle 5 inches Brass or bamboo handle.

Can never have too many for the bench

I have a half dozen of these around the bench. Versatile and cheap (look for them on sale). Use them to pick, clear eyes and apply UV goo with the occasional 5 Min. Epoxy application. Can really pinpoint where you put the goos and how much you put on.
