Bought as a back-up rod, now it’s my go to

I purchased the 9 foot 8 weight for streamer fishing after I gave away my BVK. This rod casts very similar to the BVK but with improved components like a matte finish, upgraded real seat, and larger guides. I like how this rod casts in the medium to long range. It’s a great rod for chucking streamers all day. I’ve had problems in the past with TFO rods breaking easily so we will see how this one holds up. My one complaint is the full wells grip seems small (I have big hands though). I like having more room to adjust my grip for heavier reels or line. All in all a great rod, especially for under $300!
